Getting in
As the university states it
The entry requirements for the SQE1 Preparation course are as follows: - A 2.2 law degree covering foundational legal subjects (contract, tort, public, crime, trusts, land) completed in the last 5-years; or - A 2.2 non-law degree and pass in a law conversion course which covers foundational legal subjects completed in the last 5-years; or - If the law degree / conversion course is older than 5-years, students must take and pass an admissions test (the ‘Admissions Test’) OR enrol on the SQE Law Starter course and pass the Admissions Test; or - Equivalent qualifications, including L6 CILEX, overseas law degrees or combined honours law degrees. If such a qualification covers some but not all foundational law topics, candidates will normally be required to (a) study the missing topics on a Law Conversion Modules Route; or (b) study BPP’s SQE Starter Course or similar and pass the Admissions Test Applicants with an alternative qualification to those specified above (such as an access course) or those who have no formal qualifications or work experience will be considered by the Dean, or their nominee, on their own merits.
