Embed the course finder on your site
Give your students the same 6-question course match, right on your own page. It shows their top 3 matches with a link through to the full shortlist on StudyDecidr — free, no software to install, no build step, just an iframe.
- Free for schools, colleges and careers services.
- Students answer 6 quick questions on grades, subject and career interests, and see their top 3 course matches without leaving your page.
- Works responsively — the same code fits desktop, tablet and mobile.
- You don't need to give StudyDecidr any access to your website — generate the code below, then pass it to whoever manages your site to paste in.
Your embed code
Install instructions
- Fill in a partner ID above (so we know it's your traffic), and optionally your accent colour and logo. Generate your snippet and copy it.
- Send the copied code to whoever manages your website — a web developer, IT contact, or your school's CMS administrator. They paste it into the page's HTML where you want the widget to appear; a CMS “custom HTML” or “embed” block works for most site builders.
- The included
resize.jsscript automatically grows and shrinks the iframe as students move through the questions — no fixed height to configure, and no scrollbars inside the widget. No further setup is required. - Students see their top 3 matches, then a link to see the full shortlist on studydecidr.com (their answers carry over, so they don't have to repeat the questionnaire).
Notes: the widget always carries a “Powered by StudyDecidr” credit, and university names stay hidden inside the widget itself — the same way they do on studydecidr.com — until a student is on the full site. If you'd like to discuss anything beyond this, email hello@studydecidr.com.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing appears where you pasted the code: some site builders strip raw HTML/script tags outside a dedicated “embed”, “custom HTML” or “code” block — make sure you're pasting into one of those, not a normal text field.
- The widget appears but looks cut off or has a scrollbar inside it: check that the
resize.jsscript tag was copied along with the iframe and hasn't been removed — it's what grows and shrinks the widget to fit its content. - Your logo isn't showing: the logo URL must be a direct, publicly accessible image link (starting
https://) — a link to a webpage that merely contains the logo won't work. - Anything else, email hello@studydecidr.com and we'll help directly.
