The MBA programme builds on knowledge and understanding gained through professional experience to develop leadership and strategic management skills. The programme consists of a combination of generalist and specialist modules. The generalist modules (Understanding Workplace Behaviour, Business Finance and the Macro-economic Environment) cover areas of key management knowledge. - The specialist modules (Formulating and Planning Organisational Strategy, Organisational Culture and Leadership and The Leadership of Strategic Change) provide in-depth knowledge and practical experience in formulating and leading the strategic change in an organisation. Business Consultancy Project module gives students an opportunity to put their knowledge, research and problem-solving skills into practice in a real consulting situation. - After completing the MBA programme students would be able to integrate new knowledge with past experience and apply it to new situations. Students will have gained particular strengths in analysing, synthesising and solving complex unstructured business problems. Students will have developed the leadership skills to formulate and implement new strategies within an organisation. - The programme has been developed with reference to the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) and the QAA Master’s Degrees in Business and Management subject benchmark document. The College recognises the need to provide a programme that is current, relevant and with a curriculum catering for the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.
