Our Artificial Intelligence and Robotics masters degree prepares you for advanced careers in robotics, artificial intelligence and autonomous systems across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, transport and smart technologies, or for progression into research and doctoral study. You’ll gain the skills and the technical confidence needed to design, build and deploy intelligent robotic systems that operate safely and effectively. You’ll develop strong foundations in AI and machine learning, with specialist expertise in robotics, including robot control and kinematics, computer vision, sensor fusion, reinforcement learning and human-robot interaction. The industry placement or research year is a great way to gain valuable professional or academic experience and provides an opportunity for international students to study in the UK for two years instead of one. We offer a two-year international study visa route to support applications for this course. Brighton & Hove is the UK’s leading city for new economy businesses (Centre for Cities 2025) which include artificial intelligence and automation sectors. The city has strong links to the AI community and is just an hour away from central London. For more information on alternative start dates, early exits (PGCert/PGDip) and part-time studying options please visit the course page on our website.
