Getting in
As the university states it
If you not hold a BA in Anthropology from a UK university, it is likely that we would ask you to complete an MA in Anthropology before progressing to the MPhil. We will also consider students who hold an MSc in Anthropology or a related discipline, or an MRes in Anthropology. A taught Masters in Anthropology, including an MRes or MSc, will provide you with the necessary research skills. If you achieve the required standard at a Masters level, you will be able to apply and register for the MPhil/PhD upon completion. We accept a wide range of international qualifications. If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.5 with a 6.5 in writing and no element lower than 6.0 to study this programme.
