You’ll build strong research and analytical skills while using modern laboratory technologies. In your first year, you study core modules in molecular biology, bioinformatics, statistics, and natural product chemistry, and complete a research project that develops your practical experience. Your second year focuses on an industrial placement. Getting in
As the university states it
An undergraduate (honours) degree at 2:2, or above, in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or a relevant subject. Applicants without a degree that have professional qualifications or relevant professional experience may be considered. Applicants from other backgrounds may be considered.
