Develop your thinking and creativity as we search for the next big step in electronics. This Master's in Applied Artificial Intelligence for Engineering builds on the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning by creating new systems to provide intelligence. By developing new processing methods and data representations, we aim to establish the next big step in computing. The course considers what lies behind current technologies (e.g. AlphaZero, Siri, Alexa) and equips you to think beyond them - to analyse the needs for future technologies and to create and shape them. This course offers the opportunity to participate in a highly motivated intellectual environment with research-active tutors and like-minded peers while engaging with cutting-edge technologies. You'll be immersed in innovative and pioneering approaches to the field and become highly skilled. You'll also learn to apply your understanding to present and future real-world problems. What you should know about this course - Making use of our highly specialised equipment bought to support teaching and research you will not only develop the technical, but also practical skills required for your career. - You will learn to think outside of the box and reach your design goal more directly through innovative approaches. - Your designs will incorporate any necessities, like security, from the start, eliminating the need for later additions. - This course prepares you for what is out there now, as well as having the ability to develop the next steps in any area of electronics/computing. - This course is taught at our Medway Campus in Kent.
