This is the first coaching course of its kind in — and complements the extensive undergraduate football courses offered at the University of — . The course design has been led by USW sport academics and significantly informed by external partners, including the Football Association of — Trust and Swansea City Football Club. The applied nature of the content, delivered by experts in the field, including Premier League and International levels coaches and support staff, offers access to rarely-shared knowledge, and enhances employability through professional development and industry readiness. This unique course will be delivered through a combination of face-to-face teaching (during residential visits) and guided online learning to offer flexibility of study and make it accessible to international students and industry professionals. What’s more, there are three exit points for this course, which means you can study for the Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or the full MSc.

Upper Second Class sports related Degree or related industry experience. Applicants must hold a valid UEFA B License or equivalent qualification. (E.g., NSCAA, AFC) Access to the course is via interview only. At interview, applicants will be expected to provide a portfolio of qualifications and experiences. An enhanced DBS check will also be required - details of when and how to apply will be provided to all successful applicants.
