Develop the knowledge and skills to plan and evaluate public health programmes on our master’s degree in Public Health. Drawing on international case studies, evidence and practice, you will explore how public health programmes and policies are planned, measured and evaluated and the socio-economic and political forces that affect them. You will gain a clear understanding of the social determinants of health and how effective public health programmes can help identify and address inequalities within societies. To underpin your studies, you will learn thorough research, evaluation and analytical skills that you can apply in a wide range of settings. This programme is ideal if you have experience working with or within health systems and want to gain a deeper understanding of broader Public Health theory, approaches and methods of research and analysis. Our students come from all over the world and bring a wealth of professional clinical and non-clinical experience in sectors including: - dentistry - medicine - nursing - mental health - nutrition - government - charities - NGOs.
