This course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of both public and private international law and will equip you with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to gain a deeper understanding of the rules and principles that govern the way nations deal with each other. The course combines the study of eight option modules chosen from a broad range of topics. Through these modules, you will gain an excellent insight into the foundations, general principles and current trends of international law, as well as the subject areas of international trade and finance, corporate law, world trade and environmental law. You will conduct independent legal research throughout the course, culminating in your dissertation. The International Law LLM stream will allow you to acquire the specialist knowledge and skills to further enhance your professional career.
