With a broad range of modules, this International Management MSc equips you with the knowledge and skills to lead in private, voluntary and public organisations. Overview Our MSc in International Management will give you the skills and knowledge to succeed in leadership roles across private companies, charities, and public organisations. You’ll learn how businesses operate around the world and how to manage them effectively on a global scale. Through real-life case studies, you’ll explore how companies tackle challenges and make decisions. You’ll also build your confidence as a future manager by developing practical skills throughout the course. In your final project, you’ll apply what you’ve learned to a business topic that interests you. Plus, you can shape your degree to match your career goals by choosing modules that match your interests, whether that’s marketing, sustainability, finance, or another area. This helps you build specialist knowledge and stand out to employers. Our independent accreditations are built into your degree, which will boost your CV and fast-track your membership into organisations such as the Chartered Management Institute. This will give you an edge in the competitive job market and can even help increase your salary. Placements On this course, you’ll have the chance to take a 6 or 12-month work placement. You’ll be supported throughout, from finding opportunities and applying to preparing your CV and interview skills through dedicated workshops and one-to-one tutorials. Placements give you real-world experience in a business setting, helping you build your skills and boost your employability. Some students even base their final research project on their placement, using real data and applying course concepts to real challenges. While on placement, you’ll stay connected to the University with support from a dedicated placements team, regular tutor visits, and full access to resources. At the end, you’ll submit a portfolio including a learning contract, employer feedback, a case study, and a presentation.
