On this MSc you’ll gain a practical skillset that is in demand in today’s job market. You'll build a comprehensive knowledge of Economics with a strong grounding in its applications using computing and programming skills. This will enable you to analyse large and complex data sets to solve complex problems. These skills are essential in analysing economic policy and financial markets, as well as utilising data for informed decision-making. On this course you will: - study machine learning techniques, text analysis, neural networks and econometric methods - use programming languages to address economic problems - work with real-world scenarios, take part in collaborative projects and gain exposure to industry practices - gain advanced skills in data communication, visualisation and presentation. Your applied dissertation will give you the opportunity to put your knowledge into practice to tackle complex problems with real-world implications.
