Develop the knowledge and skills for a career in the global food industry. This course balances science and business. It is taught by the School of Biosciences and the Business School. You'll study: - food processing and operations - product development and quality assurance - business management You'll learn through lectures and practical activities in our Food Processing Facility. Visits to food companies and events enable you to see the latest technologies. A feature of the course is the strong interaction with the food industry. External speakers give lectures and attend networking events. There is an opportunity to complete your research project in collaboration with the food industry. Many students do this on an industry placement. Projects can be factory, laboratory or literature based.
