Getting in

As the university states it

A good upper second class degree or overseas equivalent is required. Any degree discipline is acceptable, but students must have a satisfactory existing level of Maths, Quants or Stats. We welcome students from a variety of disciplines, including Maths, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Medicine, straight Economics, and straight Finance. Students from less quantitatively oriented degrees are also welcome if they have focused on the more quantitative elements of those degrees. For students whose first language is not English, we require an IELTS score of 7 (with 6 in writing). If you do not meet language or scholarly requirements it may be possible for you to undertake foundation or pre-sessional programmes that will prepare you for the masters programme.
