You will develop an advanced knowledge and understanding of specific areas, such as ancient materials, zooarchaeology and osteoarchaeology. We offer a diverse range of expertise, with particular strengths including: - The study of archaeological materials, ancient technology and production - Mediterranean prehistory, in particular Greece and Italy - Medieval and post-medieval archaeology in Britain and north-western Europe - The archaeology of standing buildings You are also welcome to join the activities and events of our research centres, in the: - Centre for Spartan and Peloponnesian Studies (CSPS) - Centre for Late Antique and Byzantine Studies (CLABS) - Institute for Medieval Research
