If your degree is not from the UK, please check International Qualifications to find the equivalent in your country: the university's website All students applying to the MRC BSU PhD programme must have or expect to get a first or high II.i honours degree in mathematics, statistics or a related discipline. All applicants will be expected to have significant knowledge of both practical and theoretical mathematics and /or statistics via taught courses at undergraduate level or equivalent. Those students who have gained their degree outside the UK will be subject to University of — criteria for overseas qualifications to ensure that this high level is maintained. A master's degree is also considered desirable.
