Admission to this program requires at least one of the following: A 4-year Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline that is not completed in Australia with a minimum credit average (equivalent to a UNSW WAM of 65) A 3-year Engineering Science degree in a cognate discipline with a minimum credit average (equivalent to a UNSW WAM of 65). Due to the broad range of applications for the mechanical engineering field, all engineering disciplines are considered cognate.
