They will have the skills necessary to understand theoretical and practical problems in international relations and to appreciate the connections between the principles and practice of diplomacy. Graduates will also have carried out a substantial piece of independent research so will have expertise in the formulation of research questions, data collection and analysis, case study analysis and hypothesis testing.
