Graduates of the Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability will have the knowledge and skills, including Indigenous knowledge/matauranga Maori, to understand how complex socio-ecological systems and processes drive (un)sustainability. They will be able to critically engage in transdisciplinary, collaborative problem solving for sustainable change. Graduates will also understand ethical, social and environmental justice issues that impact sustainability decision making, alongside gaining skills for collaboration and community engagement in a Treaty framework. Graduates will have developed written, oral and numeracy skills and competencies to research, analyse, critique and present arguments for a range of audiences.
