Graduates of the Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy with Honours will be lifelong learners and effective communicators, who have the ability to provide evidence-based culturally responsive speech and language therapy services that reflect individuals' goals and contexts. They will engage in collaborative problem-solving with clients, their whanau and a variety of professionals. Graduates will have the ability to critically appraise the literature and collaborate in research. Graduates will possess the necessary foundations to pursue a Masters degree and a PhD in Speech and Language Therapy. Graduates will gain skills and experience that will prepare them for a career in Speech and Language Therapy nationally and internationally.
