include completion of 58 credit hours of pre-nursing pre-requisites with a grade of "C" or better. Admission to the UNMC nursing program is competitive and based on scholastic record and personal recommendations. Students accepted to the program may complete the two-year nursing curriculum on the UNK campus in the Health Science Education Complex. UNMC offers two admission cycles, with start dates in August and January. A one year Accelerated Nursing program is also available.
