for graduate study at WSU, candidates must possess the following attributes: A Massachusetts initial or professional teaching license that includes middle school grades (i.e. 1-6, 5-8, 5-12, or all grades) in the relevant field of licensure or the equivalent license from another state. Unlicensed middle grades teachers in New England who wish to apply must have 2 current professional letters of recommendation that can speak to their employment and teaching experience. GREs are not required to apply to this program.
