MAJOR EXPERIENCES Following their freshman year, biochemistry majors are encouraged to become involved in research projects with Department faculty. Stipends for are available to work on these projects during the summer in the Department. Summer work at other research institutions or clinical experience is also encouraged. Students may also choose to undertake biochemistry related internships for elective course credit. Double Majors Students who wish to expand their educational opportunities may decide to declare a double major.
